About You:

Our ideal candidate will possess self-motivation, a desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives, an empathetic and customer-focused attitude, keen attention to detail, and proficiency in fostering relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly or fortnightly face-to-face, Zoom and phone appointments with clients with disabilities.
  • Assist clients in understanding job/career opportunities that match their unique skills, education, experience, and interests.
  • Craft tailored resumes and cover letters.
  • Conduct online job searches.
  • Facilitate job applications online.
  • Communicate with employers to create customized job opportunities for clients.
  • Provide interview skills training.
  • Assist clients in discovering and enrolling in courses to enhance employability.
  • Offer disability disclosure advice.
  • Support clients in receiving reasonable workplace adjustments.
  • Advocate for clients facing unfair work conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of client appointments and interactions.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience working with people who have disabilities (preferred).
  • Familiarity with the NDIS (preferred).
  • Ability to meet KPIs and targets.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in administration and data entry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a casual position initially consisting of 10-20 hours per week. The potential for moving into a permanent part-time or full-time position may be available in the future for the right candidate. While primarily a remote role, occasional face-to-face appointments with clients or visits to a client’s workplace may be required.

The role requires a high-speed internet connection, a laptop, and a quiet home workspace.
